Andrew and Phil Morgan became the Co-Founders of HardSoft back in the 80s! The year was 1983, Apple has just launched the first Macintosh and Amstrad’s beige plastic heaps dominated the market.

Phil, just 14 years old was a young programmer wielding the formidable Dragon 32 computer and pushing its 32K RAM and the gaming genre to their limits.

Device as a Service is the provisioning of end user IT devices, such as PCs, laptops, mobile devices, under a subscription.  DaaS simplifies IT management, and reduces internal IT costs, by placing responsibility for lifecycle management of these devices with the supplier.  

DaaS moves the procurement of end user devices from a capital expenditure (CapEx) model to an operating expense (OpEx) model which results in predictable costs. DaaS enables companies to scale up or scale down their end user device requirement in line with changing staffing levels, and have access to the latest technology and performance, without having to purchase the hardware.
