Low Code refers to platforms or services that enable people who are not programmers to create fully functioning enterprise level software applications. Low Code covers the full system development life cycle (SDLC) from design UX (user experience) and UI (user interface), architecture, business logic, workflow, and data services, to application development, testing, deployment and management.


Low Code service providers are responsible for application performance and for core cyber security, removing some but not all elements of the System Security Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).  

An extreme version of Low Code is referred to as No Code - which, as it infers, requires no coding at all and is where business users, with no coding or IT technical background, are able to create an application.
